Hello my friends today you’re gonna discover how to attract more coaching clients in 20 minutes or less per day let’s get started so I wanted to tell you a story my dad actually went through knee surgery and this surgery cost tens of thousands of dollars now how many times do you think the surgeon actually rung more email to followup with my dad to check in to see how his knee was recovering the answer zero and that’s crazy when you consider how much he spent but the thing is it’s so common for businesses not to care it’s so rare when we come across the business that does care and that is your opportunity so what if for example you went to the dentist and you had some surgery maybe you had a crown put in and what if that dentist after you got home you had a phone call for the dentist to say hey Jim just calling to see how you’re feeling of the crown you know you should expect a bit of pain for the first few hours just want to see how you’re doing and you say ah my pain is you know on a scale maybe six out of ten a dentist says okay that’s great good to hear and if it gets higher feel free to call me back how would that how would you feel afterwards if your dentist just took those 10 minutes out of their day to give you a call to check in and even better say a month passes or week passes and they continue to check in on you to see how you’re going and you can tell that they have your best interests at heart how would this change the way you think about your dentist well when it comes to coaches which you are your role is to help your clients make progress and to help them with that it doesn’t mean you stop after you make the sale in fact that’s where you should start so unlike most businesses who try so hard are in contact just all over their prospects to try to get them to buy it’s so rare that after sale is made a business will actually keep in touch with you just to see how you’re going and that’s where you can stand out and as a coach this is key because you’re showing them that you are there for them and it’s not transactional it’s not like you do this I do that for you no it’s instead I want you to make some progress I want you to have a transformation and it’s not because you want something and the thing is the number one source of business when it comes to coaching is not finding new customers through advertising marketing the number one source for most businesses is through referrals so if that’s a case then why aren’t we spending more time on making sure that our customers feel you know that we’re really taking care of them and they feel delighted by the experience that we’re giving them so investing more time in your customers to follow up after they’ve paid your money with no expectations is likely not guaranteed but probably likely that you’re gonna have a better relationship with your customer and they’re more likely to refer you to their friends so you attract more coaching clients and that can only be a good thing now how long does it take for you to contact your customers say you you have 10 customers and you commit to contacting them maybe three customers a week so you know over three weeks you you go through your your base of existing of those ten customers well only takes a few minutes per customer to reach out and there’s a secret you can use automation now a lot of the big companies such as a Shopify uber they use tools because they get thousands of emails each day they have call center staff and what they do is they come up with some really nice scripts where they’re trying to say to the customer understand your concerns and you know just empathize with the customer and then go into the solution so instead of you know having a thousand customers contact you and having to retype all of these messages what a lot of these firms do is they have a boiler plate or a template and then they tweak it they customize it based on what the customer is saying and that allows them to get through a lot more of those customer inquiries per day it’s like super super power just speeds up the process and it doesn’t mean that you’re not being personal when you use automation when you use a tool like this and let me show you how so if I then jump into a program that I use it’s called text expander and what I’ve got here is just an email and let’s just say I’m reaching out to a past client coaching client of mine so I say hey Diana well this is where the magic happens so instead of having to write a message from scratch I have created a shortcut where if I just type in dot if you pee for follow-up it brings up this handy-dandy little little app where I’m able to specify personal details and it will generate the email for me within a few seconds so in this case I’d say hey Diana hope you and you can see I put your family but I can change that too let’s just say she’s got a puppy dog called Bolt hope you and little bolt are doing well how is name of their project so her project was her life coaching how is the life coaching going I hope you were still so what’s something that she did that was a big win I hope you are still running those amazing Facebook groups take care cheers Channel now as you can see I’ve got a template but I personalized it to my past client being Diana and if I just click OK here BAM the email is generated and I can just then click send and off it goes so this is a very easy way for you to set up a whole set of different templates and you can use these templates for different situations here I’ve crafted an example where I’m following up with a past client just to check in and see how she’s doing and you know it doesn’t take long it you can do it maybe under a minute and I can do this over and over again for different customers and you know I’m not doing it for any gain but it’s I mean Diana would feel good that I’m actually I care about her I’m checking in to see how she’s going and you know it’s nice to hear from people that you haven’t heard for from for some time so it’s just just a great thing for you to do and people can always feel the love they can feel when a business has the best interest at heart when the business takes care when they when they go that extra mile so I was using a tool called text expander to have that little applet where I can use templates and what I’m gonna do is I am actually going to give you a one-page mind map where I break down how I use this software called text expander you can use any automation software I use tech expander I find it quite good it’s quite affordable as well but anything will work the idea here is to be able to use some sort of app that lets you take a little bit of text and expand it out to give you a full email or you know a big paragraph that just really when you’re typing these emails in the future makes it super quick for you to communicate with your customers which means that you can communicate with more people a lot quicker and attract more coaching clients I’m so in this mind map I break down how I use this software for different use cases so I’ve got no follow up emails that I send also introduction emails we’re introducing one one friend so friend eggs meet friend why some other things are if a customer has had a bad experience to empathize and then to help solve their problems so boilerplate template around that and yeah just a variety of different templates that I’ve got so basically this mind map just shows you how you can use software in your business for a whole heap of different things to really save you time and this really became important for me because as I’m doing more with my side hustle it’s taking a lot more time over my weekends I just needed a way to to get through stuff a lot quicker and my initial thought was to hire a virtual assistant which I still will be doing down the track but for now using technology which as I said is an expense if I’m not an affiliate with text expand or anything I don’t get any money if you buy it I just want you to find a tool and to be able to you know stop trying to do everything and do stuff as efficient as possible the other thing just going back to the VA is that in the future when I do get a VA I’ll be able to point them to my library of all of these templates that I’ve created so that when they start emailing my customers they can do it in the same tone the same voice that I use because a lot of the messages would have already been craft and I literally just have to share it with them create an account for them and they’re ready to go so anyway
